Safety is of the utmost concern at all times. We are meticulous about our sterilization and disinfecting methods.. Operatories and exam rooms are cleaned and disinfected after each patient. We also wear masks and gloves during your dental treatment.
At Peck Smiles we use the Instrument Management System (IMS) to guarantee our patients safety. After use, dental instruments are placed on a metal tray and that is the last time they are touched before their next use. After being placed on the tray the instruments are cleaned in an ultra sonic cleaner. They are then placed in sealed auto clave bags and sent through the auto clave. The bags remained sealed until we are ready to use them. The IMS sterilization system allows for less handling of the dental equipment and most important, more effective infection control. |
